| Hello! My name is Heather/Raven. I am 2o years and live with my parents. I'm trying to 'find myself' and figure out what I want to do in life. I love to draw, paint, make jewelry, read, collect things, go shopping, hang with friends, and play The Sims 2. My current obsession are Littlest Pet Shop toys. I have an unhealthy addiction to weekly celebrity magazines and cutting pictures out of them and creating different scrapbook things in my many spiral notebooks, which I also collect. I like to laugh and to keep people laughing. I actually fantasize about being a comic and am always thinking up jokes. Writing is also a huge part of me and I love to write about important topics and share my opinion. I am a far-left Liberal and I vote Democrat. I'm very open-minded and I do not judge people too quickly. I love music: all kinds. I love to have penpals and send people treats and fun things in the mail (and to recieve them!!). A zine is an underground handmade magazine popular within the Riot Grrrl, punk, and indie communities. Zines range from all sorts of topics, including political to zombie fiction. There are literally thousands of zines all around the world. Zinesters think of a topic, write it out in booklet form, and print it either on a printer or through Kinko's. There are many sites dedicated to selling zines (distros) and many places where you can buy them. Zines are cheap, fun to read and collect, and a great way to get your voice out there. Other Information Though this journal was originally made for me to jot down zine ideas and articles, this is also my personal journal. This journal is 99.9% Friends Only. I post pictures, thoughts on world events, silly teen issues, and whatever else I feel like adding. I have a habit of adding lots of people, most of which who don't add me back. I try to filter out those who never added me back to keep my space clean. The one and only person that I read everyday is | moontrip. Most times, I will tend to lurk other journals, but won't comment. Do not be offended if I don't comment your entries; most times I don't have anything to say or add to the conversation, so I just keep quiet. I like to add people who don't have a care in the world; free spirits, kandy kidds, hippies, etc. I love people who are creative, outgoing, and rainbowy.
